Telesales Representative

The Best Practice Systems (BPS) Telesales Rep sells and services accounts via phone calls. Responsibilities include add-on sales to existing BPS clients and acquiring new BPS clients via prospecting and lead generation. May be assigned to respond to customer service e-mail inquiries and orders. Usually responsible for non-complex and easy to close sales. Operates under close to moderate supervision. Will work to transition accounts to national sales team as they grow in size and scope.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Qualify telesales leads
  • Make outbound calls to prospects daily
  • Close Affiliate sales
  • Tracks and reports all activity through Microsoft CRM
  • Provides daily reports and stats and mgr on activity
  • Serve as product “subject matter expert”

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Proven ability to close sales via phone calls
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written
  • Working knowledge of or comfortable with CRM Software
  • Proven ability of producing results and fulfilling stated goals

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and
  • 2 – 3 years telesales experience
  • Or relevant combination of education and experience.

Account Executive

A BPS Account Executive maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts. They spend time developing relationships in order to acquire new accounts from existing customers. Also the account exeuctive is responsible for electronic billing adoption services for current accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help existing clients increase customer adoption of electronic billing
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Solve problems that may arise with existing clients
  • Conduct quarterly conference calls between BPS and existing clients

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Proven ability to maintain and improve existing client relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written
  • Working knowledge of or comfortable with CRM Software
  • Proven ability of producing results and fulfilling stated goals

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and
  • 2 – 3 years telesales experience
  • Or relevant combination of education and experience.

Java Software Developer

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI WITH FULL-SCOPE POLY. , Designs, develops, maintains, tests and troubleshoots software programs for computer based systems. Provides input for documentation of new and existing programs. Designs specific enhancements and planning upgrades to software. Assists in reviewing and analyzing detailed systems specifications and preparation of program instructions. Assists with training software end-users. Installs commercial software packages. Sets up hardware (e.g., install modems, disk drives, etc.; run cable connecting computer to printer; connecting user to network, etc.). Makes approved changes (amending program flowcharts, developing detailed processing logic and coding changes.) Tests, documents changes, and writes operator instructions. Evaluates simple interrelationships in the immediate programming area, consults with users to determine needs/modifications, and implements changes upon approval from higher level staff member. May write new programs using prescribed specifications; processing logic, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to apply general principles to complete assignments.
  • Ability to present information to internal or external customers verbally and in writing, train end-users, identify problems and recommend solutions, and analyze information.
  • 2+ Years Java experience.
  • Linux knowledgable.
  • Agile Development processes and experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
  • + 2 years direct computer programming experience OR Associate's degree (as noted above)
  • + 4 years direct computer programming experience.
